While I was surfing the web I found what I believe not to be the worst website ever but still bad, and that would be the Game Informer website.
The reason being that with the Game Informer magazine it is full of information, and is covered in awesome art work but the website on the other hand although informative dose lack the art side.
When I went on the Game Informer website I was disappointed to see that it did not contain any background art or any background at all for that matter it’s just plain white, and the only art is the screen shots of the games they were reviewing and in the article themselves.
And I was not impressed with the size of the site it felt to small and skinny for a website like that and everything looked mushed together.
When you click into the article it fills the screen and it’s filled with information and screen shots so you can see what they are talking about. However I feel like the two pages are very different from each other and they shouldn’t, one looks like it was given more attention than the other and that’s not good.
If you are going to have that much room on each side of the home page you need to have something to fill it with otherwise it just looks empty, boring , plain all the bad words you don’t want, you can be informative but you need to have flare as well because you can’t have one without the other.
Don’t get me wrong I like Game Informer I like there mags and what they have to say, there good but they could be great, because your home page is the first thing your readers see and is your most imported page and so I believe that the worst website is the Game Informer website because they forgot there homepage.
